Foiling Pipeline
For over a decade, America One Racing (A1R) and Quantum Racing have been identifying and developing some of the most successful young sailors in the United States. The development of young sailing talent is at the core of A1R’s mission.
With foiling now a fundamental aspect of sailing’s highest-profile events—including half of the Olympic classes—A1R is advancing its mission through its Foiling Pipeline. A1R provides opportunities for young sailors through access to equipment, structured clinics and camps, as well as regatta training and coaching in foiling classes.
A1R’s Foiling Platform utilizes the following equipment: Wingfoil, Waszp, iQFoil and Formula Kite
Through its partnership with Quantum Racing, A1R ensures that the USA’s top young talent benefits from world-class coaching, high-performance training environments, and a clear pathway to the highest levels of the sport.
Project Podium
The 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games will be a true "home games" for the USA. The last time the Olympics were held in Los Angeles, in 1984, the U.S. dominated sailing, winning a medal in every class—a historic feat that may never be matched by any nation. However, the success of the ’84 team remains a powerful source of inspiration for today’s U.S. sailors.
With shoreside facilities in Long Beach in limited supply, competition for access will be intense as international teams begin training in 2025. Recognizing this challenge early, America One Racing (A1R) secured cost-effective shoreside facilities in 2023, strategically located adjacent to the Olympic racecourse. This ensures that A1R athletes and coaches can train efficiently on the Olympic racetrack—right now.
